Attorney & legal support

When a client tells you someone seems to know things they shouldn't, the cause is often a phone, a computer, or an account someone else can still reach. I can help, in coordination with you.

Where I can help

  • Family law. Separation and divorce, where one party may still have access to the other’s phone, cloud account, shared plans, or location.
  • Business disputes. Partner splits, departing employees, and sensitive negotiations, where a former insider may still have a way into email or company accounts.
  • Your own practice. A review of your firm’s or your attorneys’ devices and accounts before a sensitive matter.

How I work with counsel

  • We talk first. Before I touch anything, we agree on the scope of the work and what you’d like left as it is.
  • Nothing changes without a plan. Removing monitoring software can alert whoever installed it, and changing settings can’t always be undone. We decide the order together.
  • Clear notes. I keep careful notes of what I examined and what I changed, and the client gets a plain-language written summary.
  • Your client stays in control. I explain everything to them in plain language and work at a pace that suits them.
